What is shipped, what is being built, and what we are still thinking about. Kept in step with the internal plan rather than written separately for the public.

  • Community moderation

    Timeout, remove and ban with recorded reasons, and a log moderators can read.

  • Audit log, readable

    Keyset pagination, real filters, and a facet of the actions actually present.

  • Eight domain event types

    Webhooks and workflows fire on more than a new message.

  • Per-channel permission overwrites

    Allow and deny for a role in one channel, layered over the role union.

  • Notifications that reach you when you are away

    Web push to any browser you turn it on in, honouring do-not-disturb, quiet hours and muted channels. Batched email digests are still to come.

Building

Being worked on, in this order.

  • The web surfaces, rebuilt from source

    The marketing site, the product app and the settings console as maintained, tested workspaces rather than deployed bundles.

  • A durable job runner

    The single largest unlock on the list. Notifications, digests, scheduled sends, retention sweeps and analytics rollups are all waiting on it.

  • Search with filters and a real result count

    From, in, before, has-file, plus semantic search and saved searches.

Exploring

Decided in principle, not scheduled. Several depend on a decision that has not been taken yet.

  • Single sign-on and SCIM

    SAML and OIDC, directory provisioning, mandatory second factor and session policy. The largest enterprise blocker.

  • Self-service billing

    Subscriptions, trials, invoices and usage metering. Plans are enforced today; there is no payment path yet.

  • Video and screen sharing

    The media path publishes audio today. Video multiplies bandwidth by an order of magnitude, so the hosting model is decided first.

  • Documents and live collaboration

    Nested pages, simultaneous editing, presence cursors and version history.
