Retention and legal hold

An organization can have its messages deleted once they are older than a number of days it chooses. Until it sets one, nothing is deleted on a schedule.

A legal hold stops the deleting for the whole organization while it stands. Releasing a hold keeps the record of what was held, by whom and when it was let go.
