Popovers keep the keyboard, and right-to-left choices read right

An open profile card, emoji or GIF picker, or profile popout keeps Tab among its own controls, and Escape closes the one on top — a menu inside a card closes first. Activity, a glance rather than a task, closes when you Tab past it.

In right-to-left languages a select’s chosen value reads in the right order. Sidebar sections and member-list groups are groups, not page landmarks, so a screen reader’s landmark list is short again. Radio buttons and tick boxes show where the keyboard is, and the platform console’s tab title names the section.
