On a phone: whole threads, catching up after a tunnel, and rings that reach a locked phone

A reply in a Work thread is drawn like a message in the channel: its photos, files, voice clips and reactions, and a long press for its actions. Coming out of a tunnel, Home, your DMs, the inbox, Activity and an open thread read what they missed, and a screen that could not load tries again on its own. Do Not Disturb set on another device shows on the phone at once.

A Link ring also arrives as an urgent notification with Join and Decline, and the caller is told “Ringing …” only for people it reached. A thread’s notification no longer replaces its channel’s, and clears once the thread is read. A busy channel left open stays light, sharing a photo with no connection is kept for when you are back, and the installed app opened offline waits for the connection instead of asking you to sign in.
