Members can use @channel and pin, and owners choose who and when

Members can use @channel and @here, and members and guests can pin and unpin. Workspace settings › General has two choices: who can use @channel and @here (everyone, or admins and owners), and when Kemble asks before one is sent — always, in channels of more than six people, or never.

Mention somebody who can’t read the channel and a note under the box tells you, and only you, and offers to add them, to let them know in a direct message that leaves out the message’s words, or to do nothing. A workflow’s “Create a channel” step refuses a name the workspace already uses.
