A guest invitation names where the guest goes

2 October 2026

A guest sees only what they are invited to, so an invitation for a guest now names a space — “The whole workspace” when there is only one — and, if wanted, one channel in it. An invitation for a guest with no space is refused, rather than leaving the guest in an empty workspace.

Invite people offers admin, member and guest; nobody is invited as a workspace’s owner.
