Kemble Circle: new roles start at the bottom, and events follow who can see the room

2 October 2026

A new role now starts just above Member, below whoever made it. Onboarding answers, self-assigned roles and reaction roles never give a role that would outrank your moderators. A role named like a built-in one, such as Owner or Admin, gets its own key and never stands in for the built-in.

An event in a room you cannot see is hidden from the events list, its reminders and its notices. Holding, starting or moving an event on a stage takes a moderator of that stage, and Schedule an event lists only the rooms you can hold one in. Explore’s two-step sign-in requirement now covers everyone who moderates the community, and Insights says how newcomers joined.

Create a community offers starter layouts — gaming, friends, study group, school club, creators, local community — beside making your own. Deleting a webhook or an AutoMod rule asks first. On a phone, a group conversation’s header keeps its name on one line, and moderating someone from their profile says what happened.
