Our rule is that a reader can paste any request from the docs into a terminal and have it work. Holding that line means reading the code, not the ticket, and telling an engineer when the two disagree.

What we look for

• You have written developer documentation someone actually used.
• You are comfortable reading a codebase to check a claim.
• You would rather write four true sentences than a page of confident ones.
