Signing in with Google or a phone number no longer fails without a word. If Google’s sign-in window closes before you are signed in, or you cancel on Google’s own screen, the sign-in page tells you gently and offers to email you a code instead. If Google or phone sign-in isn’t available at all, the page says so plainly and points you to the emailed code, which always works. A blocked pop-up, a lost connection, a browser that blocks storage and too many attempts each get their own words, and each offers the emailed code too. The sign-in page no longer tells a visitor to contact an administrator.
This changelog now lists the newest change of each day first, on the main list, each product’s list and each month’s page; a list that shows only a set number of releases always shows the newest. The website’s offline copies of the pricing, documentation and contact pages are kept at the addresses you open, and the old copies are cleared from your browser.
Kemble names people in more places: role and group member lists, moderation audit sentences, safety alerts, report titles and appeal notices show the person’s name, or “a former member” when the account is gone, never a generic “a member”. A private thread’s member list names who added each person, even when that person has since left. A person who is no longer in your workspace or community no longer shows a presence dot beside their messages in a direct conversation, and their profile card in Kemble Circle shows no presence, activity or Message button; in Circle’s Home, a profile you can’t see says calmly that it isn’t available.
A message you are typing in Kemble Circle or in New message is kept the moment Kemble updates itself, and the update notice no longer asks you to finish a message when there is no message box on screen.
When a file can’t reach Kemble, the app says why in plain words: a file too large for one request says so, and that nothing arrived; a server that did not answer in time asks you to check before sending again; any other error page is named as an error. Nothing is sent again by itself. A file write interrupted at our storage provider is checked a few minutes later, and copies nobody uses are removed.
