Sign-in follows your device, and New message keeps one whole draft

The sign-in pages follow your device’s light or dark theme, New message keeps one whole draft for each workspace, deleted accounts are shown as deleted everywhere, and with Reduce motion on, Kemble Circle’s member list moves together with the channel header.

Sign-in follows your device. The sign-in, sign-up, invitation and emailed-link pages open in light or dark, whichever your device is set to, and change with it while you’re on them; a theme you chose on this device is kept. On a phone, Google’s reCAPTCHA badge no longer covers the page when you use phone sign-in: its notice sits under the button instead, and its links say they open in a new tab. With Reduce motion on, a field’s focus ring appears at once. A Google or phone sign-in that arrives without its sign-in details gets the same plain answer as any other that can’t be confirmed. The links between Kemble Work’s and Kemble Circle’s sign-in, the way back to an invitation, and the terms and privacy links go straight to their page, with no redirect first.

New message keeps one whole draft for each workspace: your words, who it’s for and the files you added. All of it comes back after a reload, an update or a closed tab, and when you move to another workspace and back. A draft from one workspace no longer shows up in another. If one file fails to upload when you press Send, the others stay uploaded, and Send retries only the one that failed and says which it was; a file it kept that is no longer available goes up again by itself. A file that went up and is then taken out is removed from Kemble. Drafts & sent now lists a New message that holds only files, by who it’s for and what it holds, such as “New message to Ali Sarraf · A photo and a file”. When you sign out, the draft you were writing, files included, isn’t kept on the device for the next person.

Deleted accounts look deleted everywhere. Member lists, conversations, mentions, search, profile cards and a workspace’s member and audit log exports show “Deleted user” with no leftover username. If you try to message someone who deleted their account, Kemble says the account was deleted, not deactivated. In Kemble Circle, their profile card no longer lists communities in common, and moderators see a clear “Ban from community…” button.

With Reduce motion on, Kemble Circle’s member list now moves together with the channel header when a community notice opens or closes, when the window is resized and while you scroll; it no longer covers the header for a moment. Anything else Kemble places on screen also lands where it belongs straight away, with no one-frame delay. The loading shimmer on names and faces looks the same but costs the browser far less, so long lists still loading stay smooth, and it still stops when you ask for reduced motion.

When two people add the same new emoji or sticker at the same moment, both now get it. Kemble’s server logs are kept private on the host. The Events page no longer points to recordings below when there are none yet: it says new events and their recordings will appear there.
