In Threads, each followed thread now shows its first message, then its three newest replies with who wrote them, then how many earlier replies there are, and the reply box. Where you could not reply, it says so instead of offering a box. A channel’s notification settings gain “Follow all new threads in this channel”, off until you turn it on. “Get notified about new replies” is offered on a message nobody has replied to yet.
Workspace settings › Permissions has “Who can manage automated replies”, off at first: once allowed, K Buddy answers a trigger word in a channel or your notes to self with a quiet reply, never in a conversation with other people, a shared channel or a thread. A link whose words name another place than it goes to now says where it goes before it opens, in messages and in a canvas you are reading. The edit box follows your “Enter starts a new line” choice, and on a phone the reply box in Threads makes a new line on return and grows with what you write.
