Kemble Work: join by an approved email domain, every list in Add to list, and a microphone that waits for you

Admins can let colleagues with a confirmed work address join without an invitation, Add to list offers every list in the conversation, and a recording never starts after you have already walked away.

Workspace settings › Members has Who can join without an invitation. It is off until an admin turns it on and approves a domain that is verified for single sign-on or is their own confirmed address; public mail services never count. Anyone who confirms an address at an approved domain then finds Join <workspace> in the workspace menu and joins as a member, never a guest. A suspended workspace is never offered, and an invitation into one can no longer be accepted.

Add to list asks about every list in the conversation, newest first, so a thirteenth list is no longer missing. Search tips and the Has menu name every has: and is: value. The Search in row shows a channel’s # or lock once, and a private channel is announced as private to screen readers. In Needs you, an urgent item carries a filled diamond and the word Urgent.

Leaving, discarding or closing Settings while the browser still asks for the microphone, the camera or a screen to share now stops whatever the browser hands over afterwards, so nothing records, joins a huddle or shares a screen behind your back. A new message waits for a clip that is still starting before it can be sent. On a phone held sideways at large text, page titles, the search field’s placeholder and the author name under a message’s action bar stay readable, and Preferences titles keep their words whole.
