Kemble Work: file retention apart from messages, who may create private channels, and Threads that keep up with edits

Admins can keep files for less time than messages and decide who creates private channels; Threads shows edits as they happen and names conversations.

Data & retention has a File retention setting, “Same as messages” until an admin changes it. A file older than the setting is deleted on its own, never under a legal hold or while a copy of the workspace is being made, and its message stays, saying a file was removed. Shortening retention, turning it on and releasing a legal hold now ask you to confirm it’s you. Workspace settings › Permissions has “Who can create private channels”, which follows “Who can create channels” until it is set apart, and Security & SSO can sign everyone out at once.

Threads shows an edited reply’s new words without a reload, names a thread in a direct or group message by its people, gives each of the latest replies its time and loads faster. The Help menu has the Help centre and What’s new. On a phone, the band under the message box keeps its size at a large text, Canvases’ Show and Sort lists show their choice, and a praise card uses the conversation’s width.
