Kemble Desktop: ask K Buddy from anywhere

Kemble Desktop 0.2.10 opens a small K Buddy window over whatever you’re working in. Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Space, ask, and open the answer in Kemble when you want more.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Space (Cmd+Option+Shift+Space on a Mac) in any app, and a small K Buddy window opens on top of it, in the workspace you have open in Kemble. Type your question and press Enter: the answer appears right there, with its sources.

Open in Kemble takes the conversation to K Buddy’s panel in Kemble, so you can keep going with everything around you. A source in an answer opens in Kemble too. Esc closes the small window, and the same keys bring it back.

It never opens while your computer is locked, and it closes when your computer locks or goes to sleep. To change the keys or turn the shortcut off, open Preferences and look under General. A key you chose for calls — mute, deafen or push to talk — and a shortcut that works in every app can’t share the same keys, so one press never does both. On Windows and macOS, download and install this version from kemble.io/download.
