Account security: access ends at once, two-step sign-in that creates nothing early, and shares that leave with you

Removing someone or making a channel private cuts their live connection immediately, a password alone no longer opens a session on a two-step account, and a waiting share is forgotten when you sign out.

When someone is removed, banned, leaves, or a channel turns private, their open connection stops receiving that channel’s messages at once rather than within a minute. On an account with two-step sign-in, the password alone no longer creates a session, so it cannot push out your oldest device or add a sign-in to your access log; a code still waiting is cancelled by a password change, an email change, signing out everywhere or a staff revoke.

Someone held by AutoMod’s name filter can no longer react, vote in a poll, run an app’s command, join voice or raise a hand until they change their name; a newcomer still waiting out a community’s wait cannot run an app’s command either. Something shared to Kemble from another app now belongs to the account that received it and is forgotten when that account signs out.

On the website, the changelog is grouped by month with a Jump to a month row, the footer’s rule lines up with its columns, and link previews in the app show their hover in every theme.
